Description
We are pleased to welcome the four authors of Teaching Interculturally: A Framework for Integrating Disciplinary Knowledge and Intercultural Development to Ohio State for a panel conversation, followed by small group discussions. Some of the topics our colleagues have posed for the panel include: ** How do we create safe spaces for all students to engage in deep, meaningful discussion of course content and make sure all students' voices are heard? ** How to deal with the inclusion issue intentionally especially when you have a big class, like 200 students in a classroom? ** I'm interested to understand how "disciplinary learning" is conceptualized - this is increasingly important as OSU revisits the GE. Submit your own topics and questions on our registration form. Please RSVP here and register on the event webpage: https://ucat.osu.edu/events/reimagining-teaching-promote-student-engagement-inclusion/ Following the event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance.
