Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations on teaching and learning! Seminar Topic - Student Perceptions Regarding an End-of-Term Reflective Exercise on Pathways to Course Learning Outcome Achievement In this session, we will discuss an ongoing study investigating the impacts of an end-of-term course assignment in which students are tasked with identifying and describing elements from the course that supported their achievement of each of the course learning outcomes. The study associated with this course assignment was conducted in an introductory course in biology (for non-majors) during the summer 2019 term. In this session, we will discuss the study research questions, preliminary findings, and the potential implications of the study for both students and instructors.
