Description
Professors David Stein and Connie Wanstreet are educators who use discussion boards and chat rooms in their own courses. They are also researchers who’ve studied how learning occurs in these online environments for over a decade. Join Drs. Stein and Wanstreet and the Digital Union for this series of three sessions in which we’ll take a closer look at where the learning occurs in discussion forums and chat rooms and how learning can be assessed. Find out how to make sure you are leading your students to meet learning goals by using these two tools in the most optimal way. This Focus on Online Learning series is for any instructor who uses discussion boards or chat rooms in online, hybrid, or traditional courses. This is the first in a series of three Focus on Online Learning forums on discussion and chat.
