Student feedback is a critical tool for understanding your teaching effectiveness and making improvements that will improve student learning. The most common source of student feedback for many Ohio State instructors is the Student Evaluation of Instruction (SEI) end-of-term survey. But if you don’t understand what the tool is measuring, how to interpret the results, or how to use those results to make a plan for improvement, its value may be lost. Join us for a four-part webinar series hosted by UCAT Director Alan Kalish. Alan will help you understand what elements of teaching the SEI is actually asking about, how the SEI questions align with scholarship on how teaching can promote learning, suggest specific strategies for favorably impacting your SEI results, and how you might choose what to focus on once you receive your results.
