** Note: This workshop is designed to help graduate students with a number of different types of writing. This activity only applies if you work on your teaching statement during the workshop. During the workshop, we will divide participants into several small groups composed of students from different disciplines according to the different genres of writing submitted. You will practice giving and receiving invaluable feedback to improve the way your arguments and ideas are communicated and interpreted by highly educated non-experts. Facilitators from the Ohio State Writing Center and the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching will be on hand. ** To apply, submit your application to the link listed below by March 2, 2018 that includes your name, status, department affiliation, and the genre of your writing. You will then be asked to hand in a 3-5 page draft of your work that will be discussed during the workshop by March 21.
