Description
The purpose of TACO is to promote a community of TAs within the CLSE that will help each other grow as instructors. This is a TA developed and run group therefore your attendance is paramount to help to determine the current and future direction of the group.
Meeting Topic:
Reid will be facilitating a discussion about active, collaborative, and cooperative learning in light of the upcoming finals. In particular, the following topics will be discussed:
The effectiveness of active learning
Ways to teach/facilitate using active learning
