Experience and practice active learning strategies with other Ohio State instructors across disciplines during this immersive workshop. Over three days, you’ll hear about some common strategies, see what it’s like to be a student in an active learning environment, and try out some of these techniques with other participants. Get a sense of what works for you, ask questions, and draft lesson plans with the Drake Institute Staff. Participants will leave with three templates for specific active learning strategies. 

Please note this event is 3 sessions:
December 10 from 9 a.m. -  12:30  p.m. - Sullivant Hall 141 (Collaboratory)
December 11 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Sullivant Hall 141 (Collaboratory)
December 12 from noon - 3:30 p.m. - Derby Hall, various rooms
Participants who participate in the full 3 ½ hours all 3 days will be eligible to apply for and earn the Foundations of Active Learning Teaching Endorsement.

Must attend ALL 3 Days of the immersive workshop to receive credit. Please contact Toacca if you have any questions or can only attend partial days.
