Description
Even the best planned classes can produce conversations or interactions that feel overwhelming to an instructor. In the final session of this three-part series, facilitators will present tools that can redirect and refocus difficult situations in order to help students reengage with the material at hand. Participants will practice diffusing classroom conflict and restoring a supportive learning environment. This session may be applied to completion of the requirements for a UITL Inclusive Teaching endorsement.
This session is designed for graduate teaching assistants.
