Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations of research in teaching and learning! This week Corrie Pieterson will be talking about her research on: Assessing Impacts of GTA Peer Mentoring in CLSE In this session, participants will learn about an ongoing study on changes in teaching anxiety, attitudes about teaching, and teaching behaviors associated with GTA peer mentoring. Peer mentoring is one of many pathways in CLSE to facilitate development of teaching expertise in novice and veteran TAs. We will discuss the theoretical context for peer mentoring, existing research on peer mentoring, and the evolution of the peer mentoring program in CLSE. Participants will also discuss elements to consider when undertaking a BER (biology education research) project. Please RSVP by clicking the link below.
