Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations of research in teaching and learning!
At this seminar, Dr. Kathy Malone from the Department of Teaching and Learning will join us to discuss an activity that explores the Meselson-Stahl Experiment. This seminar will highlight a low-tech modeling based activity developed for a high school-level biology unit on growth and reproduction. This unit and its corollary activity are part of the newly developed Modeling Instruction in Biology course materials. Participants will experience the activity in ‘student-hat’ mode, followed by a ‘teacher–hat’ discussion.
