Description
Improving student success in foundational courses requires targeted work from all levels at a university. Join APLU and Colorado State University for a conversation about how undergraduate learning assistants are being used to support students and faculty in gateway courses. We will discuss the development of the program, faculty and student experiences, as well as the real-time changes being implemented in response to COVID-19. This month’s faculty webinar will be moderated by Patti O’Sullivan, the Manager of the Personalized Learning & Adaptive Teaching Opportunities (PLATO) Program at the University of Mississippi with our panelists Tonya Buchan (Institute for Learning and Teaching Instruction Designer), Stacey Clarke (Learning Assistant Program Coordinator), and Deborah Garrity (Biology).
All members of the higher education community are welcome to attend!
