Description
As educators, we engage our students not just in classroom spaces, but in other learning environments like clinicals, labs, office hours, and studios. Beyond the inherent challenges of these environments, we also see the ways that students may be challenged intersectionally, and interculturally, in these spaces. In this workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to interrogate and re-imagine several kinds of learning interactions as they may occur. InterACT is a theatre-based ensemble that uses interactive techniques to assist participants in developing success strategies and problem-solving common classroom scenarios. This workshop is part of the Inclusive Teaching Endorsement offered by the University Institute for Teaching and Learning (UITL).
