Description
In response to upcoming changes to the federal Title II digital accessibility requirements, the university has recently acquired and implemented ALLY, a tool to help instructors identify and address accessibility issues within their Carmen courses. This workshop will cover ALLY’s main features and limitations, offer tips for prioritizing fixes, and provide hands-on steps to improve course accessibility for all students.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Integrate ALLY with Carmen.
- Identify the types of accessibility issues ALLY reviews and its key limitations.
- Apply strategies for prioritizing accessibility improvements in course materials.
- Remediate common accessibility issues using ALLY.
