Description
This workshop is intended for lecture instructors working on their Instructional Redesign.
Are you interested in completing the Drake Institute Instructional Redesign Program, but don’t quite know what it takes? Have you started your IR and now feel stress over the task of creating an IR portfolio that will pass review? Does the IR process feel overwhelming?
The Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning is offering a series of IR Portfolio Writing Workshops to assist. The workshop series continues this February with IR Portfolio Writing Workshop II – Development and Planning. This 75-minute workshop will provide participants with guidelines and tips to make the portfolio production process clear and efficient. In this workshop, participants will hear about what to include (and what not to include) in the Development and Planning section (Section 2) of the IR portfolio. In addition, the workshop reserves approximately 30 minutes for participants to engage in focused, independent writing with a Drake Institute representative available to give real-time feedback and guidance.
Upon completion of the workshop, it is expected that each participant will have a draft of their IR Portfolio Section 2 (Development and Planning) started and well on its way to eventual submission as part of their complete IR portfolio.
