Description
Earlier this semester, the College of Medicine (CoM) hosted an Anti-Bias Curricular Review presentation by Dr. Amy Caruso-Brown. You can watch a recording of the presentation here. As a follow-up, the college will be hosting several workshops that allow participants to put into action what they have learned about the Upstate Anti-Bias Curricular Checklist.
Each of these workshops will be counted towards a singular event at 1.5 hours of credit towards the earning of the Inclusive Teaching endorsement through the Drake Institute.
For this second Inclusive Teaching curricular workshop, we will gather in small groups to focus on curricular content type (case studies, images, lecture, etc.) to identify best practices and resources to proceed with curricular revision.
Important note: This workshop includes a required reflection to link what you learned to your teaching.
Make sure you RSVP with the CLSE and the hosting unit!
