Description
Join ODEE staff to learn about the Mediasite lecture capture service. This session covers working with the Mediasite Desktop Recorder software on your PC or Mac, and best practices for using the MyMediasite Portal to manage, edit, and share your recordings with students. This is a DEMO session. This workshop is not designed to provide hands-on practice but you may bring your own laptop if you would like to follow along. If you decide to bring a laptop, please do the following ahead of time, before you arrive: Make sure you can successfully log in on OSU Wireless. Install the Mediasite Desktop Recorder on your laptop (it cannot be installed on a tablet). For instructions, see the Installing the Desktop Recorder webpage. Be sure to also access your MyMediasite Portal ahead of time. This class is open to university faculty and staff. Its focus is front-end use of the MyMediasite portal. If you are a technical support person, you are welcome to attend, but the admin side of Mediasite will not be covered.
