Description
Co-Sponsored with the Kirwan Institute. Part two of this series is for those who are already familiar with the basics of identifying implicit bias and are ready to build a tool kit of practical responses to combat its harmful effects. Through a mix of case studies and discussions, participants will practice ways to communicate effectively in challenging classroom situations through the employment of strategies that can be tailored to their own teaching contexts. This workshop is part of the Inclusive Teaching Endorsement offered by the University Institute for Teaching and Learning (UITL).
