This Friday, August 26th, join a conversation with Erin McKenney about "Adapting tactile teaching tools to explore gut microbial fermentation in person and online".

Erin McKenney (assistant professor in applied ecology at NC State University) will discuss the development and implementation of an active learning module to increase student engagement and understanding of microbial fermentation.
 

Sit down with other engaged colleagues on Zoom. Based on research by the Summer Institutes, supports are three times more important than barriers in implementing Scientific Teaching in classrooms. Join us for support with the National Institute on Scientific Teaching, formerly the Summer Institutes (Bathgate et al., 2019a, 2019b).
