Description
Writing Center staff will provide an overview of its various and robust services, as well as engage audience members in a writing inventory exercise. Participants are welcome to come with specific support or service questions, as well as writing needs. The Graduate Student Workshop Series is designed to connect graduate students across disciplines to the support services and expertise available in the University Libraries, the Writing Center, the University Institute for Teaching and Learning, and the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching. Whether you are coming to The Ohio State University from an undergraduate program, a smaller institution, or an extended break in your academic career, we can guide you through the most helpful resources on campus as you begin your research and prepare to teach at OSU. In addition, the series is an opportunity to meet other graduate students outside your department. Returning graduate students are also welcome. Light refreshments will be provided. All sessions will occur in the Research Commons, 18th Avenue Library. RSVP below as well as by following this link: go.osu.edu/gradworkshopseries Following the event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance.
